Double exposure portraits by Spanish-based artist Antonio Mora (a.k.a. Mylovt) blend human and nature worlds into surreal hybrid artworks. Mora works with images he’d found browsing through online databases, magazines and blogs, and then fuses them together using skillful photo manipulation techniques. His seamless way of mixing various concepts together leaves the viewer with mind-tricking illusions.
He has been developing an extensive collection of portraits in which dream worlds are superimposed with reality, creating hybrid beings of great beauty and expressive force. Having mastered the technique of digital collage using various tools such as filters, hues, saturations and gradients of opacity, Antonio’s creative process results in unified textures and the merging of two photographs. Art is a great status symbol in modern society and because of that it can be quite intimidating to the casual viewer. For many the first impulse is to blow it off, to see it as a worthless plaything for the rich and boring. This is too bad, not only because art can be a great source of pleasure in our lives, but because even a passing acquaintance with art can enrich and deepen our understanding of the world around us.
Fortunately, developing a casual understanding of art is not all that difficult. It is true that some people devote their entire lives to studying the minutest details of an artists’ work, but there’s no need to become an expert to have a meaningful relationship with art. All it takes is a moderate attention to detail, a little bit of patience, and a willingness to reflect on your own feelings.

Must have: surrealism/ i.e. dream like nature at least two images use a layer mode be black and white Assignment twoLike Antonio Mora create a transformation Portriat using the double exposure Technic. Like Moras work there should be a message or Theme to the peice. What is your artist's voice. Portraits must not come from the internet! You may bring in photos or we can take them. the overlaying image or background can come from the internet as long as there is a point of departure i.e. you have worked the photo and made it your own. You should consider the background as well, the portrait should take up the majority of the page.
