If you did not complete this do now yesturday....Open both your digital flower and Scientirfic Illustration and Answer the following questions in your Do Now portfolio

Begin adding details to your illustration. The Scientific Illustrations are due Friday!

- clarity ( can you tell where one petal ends and the other begins?)
- value
- details ( do you have the patterns of the flowers, the veins of a leaf or the strips of the bee )
- did you use different paint brushes for different textures? Does your surfaces feel different from one another? ie does the bark of the tree feel more rough than the leaf?
for extra credit ( ten points on top of your project) write a 3 or more sentence paragraph and incorporate into your illustration. Your paragraph needs to contain at least 2 scientific facts to which your illustration is depicting. for examples
The monarch butterfly through it's lifespan undergoes many changes. This is known as the Life Cycle. Before the Monarch butterfly is a butterfly it is a Caterpillar. The Caterpillar cocoons itself to transform into it's beautiful mature winged form of the butterfly.
